Pre-authorisation payment

RM100 will be put on hold by your card-issuing bank. After charging is done, the unused amount will be refunded to your bank account.

The refund should take 3-7 working days, depending on your card issuing bank.

*The refund is handled by the banking party, not RExharge.

 

Did you know?

Petrol stations also put a temporary hold on a card to verify that the card is active and has enough funds to pay for the petrol.

RExharge Public Charger Tutorial

Public charging

Step 1: Launch the RExharge app.

Step 2: Go to ‘Map’ and search for the RExharge charging station nearby.

Step 3: Select the correct EV charger.

Step 4: Plug in the connector.

Step 5: Click ‘Start’ to start charging
*For DC chargers, ‘handshake’ between charger and app may take up to 1 minute.

Step 6: Check if your EV is charging.

Step 7: Click ‘END’ to stop charging.

Why Pre-authorisation payment

User will no longer need to key in payment details with each charging session. Additionally, it also minimises the occurence of disputes.

When can I receive the refund

It takes 3- 7 working days,
depending on your issuing bank.

Will the meter stop charging once my battery is full?

Yes. You will only be charged for a full charge or until you end the session in the RExharge app. Any balance from the RM100 pre-authorized payment will be refunded.
